Dear colleagues,

As a member of staff at Warwick, you are key to the University’s performance, and to our success. Your views matter, and we want to hear about your experience of working here – what works well, what doesn’t, and what changes you think need to be made. The Pulse survey is our opportunity to hear, and act, on your feedback.

Last time we ran a Pulse survey, many of you told us you wanted a greater sense of respect in our working environment, where all colleagues could ‘speak up and challenge’ the way things are done. We’ve worked hard – both departmentally and across the institution – to move towards this kind of environment over the last two years, but I know there’s more work to do.

This survey is shorter than previous versions, which I hope is a model we can start to use to gather and check in on your perspectives more frequently, and know what is working and what improvements we still need to make. The results will be available in spring 2018. After that, departmental and institutional action plans will be drawn up to ensure your feedback is used to create change where it is needed.

Please do take this opportunity to share your views by Sunday 28 January.

With best wishes,
Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor
